Captains Log....Just kidding Well this is my first blog and the feel the hardest part of this is getting starting so here goes something....well the saying is here goes nothing but you know what I mean :)
Yesterday I went to my first Mentoring session for Project Management Institute (PMI) and meeting my mentor Jeff for the first time. I was more anxious than nervous about meeting him and he was not what I expected. I was thinking Jeff was about 50 years young however I would gauge him as being in his mid thirties with a pool of knowledge. Not only in the area of project management but also in life in general. I've only been in contact with Jeff twice (one time on the phone and once in person) thus far however I've already learned a lot. I'm very excited about learning not only from Jeff but from the other mentors and mentees in the class.
This blog will monitor my progress with PMI and display a clear understanding of the trials and tribulations that I will go though to reach my goal. I can't wait to see the progress I will make when this is all done :) This is the beginning of the beginning......my journey to get better will NEVER end.
